Da Lat’s weather is one of this quaint town’s main attractions for travelers. Thanks to its hilltop location, Da Lat enjoys a consistently mild and cool climate throughout the year. Locals and expats living in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh often make their way here during holidays and long weekends.
Da Lat has two distinctive seasons each year. The dry season takes place between November and March, while rainy weather lasts from April to October. On average, temperatures are highest in May (30°C – 32°C) and lowest in January (20°C – 23°C).
If you’re traveling to Da Lat during the rainy season, you will benefit from cheaper rates and fewer tourists. Despite the occasional showers and cold weather, you can still explore the town with many famous scenes. We highly recommend packing some long-sleeved clothing as night-time temperatures tend to hover at around 10°C.
